We have a wide variety of processes available to ensure components are manufactured using the most economic methods, and coupled with our adherence to Quality Standards AS9100 / ISO9001, this means the product our customer receives has been produced to meet or exceed their expectations.
Multi-Axis Turning: 2 Miyano ABX-64 SYY, 1 Mazak Quick Turn 200 MSY, 2 Citizen M32 V Sliding Head machines and 3 Hardinge Quest Turn / Mill machines are available to enable more complex components to be completed in a single cycle. .
3 Axis Milling: 2 Hurco VM30 and VM20 machines fitted with rotary computer controlled 4th Axis enable complex parts to be tackled. The addition of Hypermill CADCAM software enables simultaneous machining across all axis, and facilitates the generation of machine programs from customer supplied 3D models.
5 Axis Milling: 1 Roeders RXP500DSC, 1 Hurco VMU 30 and 1 Hurco VMX 30T fitted with 2 Axis Nikken Table, provide excellent versatility and high speed milling (upto 42,000 rpm). Programming via Hypermill CADCAM software allows true 5 Axis simultaneous machining.
Cylindrical Grinding: 1 Jones & Shipman Ultramat CNC Cylindrical Grinder which enables complex forms to be dressed into the wheel and automatically flags shoulder positions plus a Universal Manual Cylindrical Grinder enables a wide variety of external and internal cylindrical grinding operations to be completed.
Spark Erosion: 1 Charmilles Form 2LC with Orbiting head compliments our toolmaking capability.
Toolholders – Able to manufacture special tool holders incorporating a wide range of standard interfaces ie. ER , VDI, BT Tapers, DIN Tapers, Double Angle Collet.
Our inhouse capability is further enhanced by the use of local Sub-Contract Design resource, with whom we have a longstanding relationship.
